Illegal migration isn't tearing this country apart, but our obsession with it is. It's an obsession fuelled by our media and politicians. Both profit from blowing the problem out of all proportion. It's been happening for decades, but never more so than now

Sadly it was the way back then. I ended up having to have two tests - mortgage and mortgage insurance, both compulsory. Even now I have an exclusion for HIV on the insurance that says if I catch it in any way other than through work or being a victim of crime then it's invalidated (paraphrasing)!

When I applied for a mortgage in the mid 2000s I had to have an HIV test. It was done by holding a little thing (like cardboard) in the side of my mouth for 20 minutes. She told me the result afterwards. As it was for a financial situation it was done privately and I don't know the method's name.

Yup, same. Woke up with severe tinnitus and one ear barely working. Blood in my nose too. As I'm a complete shut-in during winter I am assuming I caught something from a germ-laden nephew on Christmas Day that started to take affect around 5 days later and has been getting worse.

I just had a poop so big I tore my hoop. I'm delicate, I've not slept with TenInchTop like most UK gays. 😢
