Following Moonstone's appearances through the Siege event. I'm done with how this era just has her sleeping around to control men. She's at her most interesting when she's using her powers and her manipulation, but all she's done in Siege is sleep with Bullseye and be worried about Thor.

Hammer is FUN but you really have to know the attacks and timings to survive out here. I had to level STR to 75 because I want to power-stance two Demon Great Hammers, but I still don't have enough VIT to use them without fat-rolling. I have no health and no stamina and no armor 😅a spicy run 3/3

Armed with the knowledge of the previous run, I decided to go full unga bunga with a giant hammer. No blocking, no parrying. Demon's Great Hammer dropped from the crows (lucky!), and spent all my souls leveling Strength and ADP so I could roll better and two-hand the hammer as early as possible. 2/3

I played Dark Souls 2 for the first time ever this year, and beat the main game with a pure sorcerer build (fire longsword as backup), and found it to be fairly easy overall with a sorc. Cheesy and ganky, and a couple of times I did need a dozen+ attempts on bosses. THEN I started a new save. 1/3

I think 3's greatest sin was having to follow up Lost World, tbh. And it always seemed so weird that the big climactic payoff is just a tense moment between a mom and a raptor mom.

But also, it tickles me that the family is from Enid, Oklahoma. It's just such a nothing-burger of a place

Rebirth is kind of like taking the interesting premises from Lost World, 3, Fallen Kingdom, and Dominion, and remixing them all together into something overall better than the rest managed.

It's actually even more interesting that Fallen Kingdom did the hybrid thing but made a real bad movie, and Rebirth was like "we're gonna revisit this bad idea but we'll make an okay movie around it this time"
