This is hilarious.

Also, completely enraging.

We saw this back in 2003/4 in container shipping and was heavily used by conferences. It’s a lever that’s pulled every now and then; either as BAF/IFP per TEU

Amazing! I had so much fun- though looking back I think my dad enjoyed it as much as I did 😀

Cool snake. Does Arizona still have a Flinstones/Bedrock City? I’m fairly sure it was Arizona- but I was quite young when I visited.

Iran's FM condemns US attack on Qeshm's freshwater desalination plant, warns of grave consequences US President Donald Trump announced that Iran promised not to attack its neighbours anymore

Multiple news outlets are reporting a US attack on an Iranian #desalination plant.
If verified, this violates international law protecting #water systems during wars, and it sets a dangerous precedent, given intense dependence of Gulf countries on desalination.

And still, so-called patriots queue up to condemn their own Prime Minister for refusing to join in with all this…

Can someone tell Catherine (?) at GBeebies that we might be able to increase the spending on defence once we’ve repatriated the tax dodging UK expats/migrants from the Middle East! #PMSpeech

A close-up of a dark seabird with a long hooked bill, dark blue eye, and a bright turquoise throat patch. Photographed in La Jolla, California.

A Brandt’s Cormorant rocking that electric blue!

Yes, a somewhat more tricky call to make. Fortunately I have a strong US team and have delegated certain activities :)
…for now at least.

Same here- definitely not worth it at the moment. I have staff in the US & potential business need to go, but am managing not to at the moment. I’d also hoped to go to Glacier NP and Pointe Reyes but that’s definitely something that is on hold for the foreseeable future.

Fortunately for the UK, we’re not governed by the malevolent, orange, flaccid blobfish in a poorly fitting suit who currently occupies the White House.

Thanks Lorraine. They’re of my favourites from last March - we need the weather gods to bring on the sunshine so that I can add some new ones.
