agrowingculture 3 hours ago 2/5 This morning, Israeli forces raided and demolished the Seed Multiplication Unit of the Union of Agricultural Work Committees' (UAWC) national seed bank in Hebron. Using bulldozers and heavy machinery, the Israeli army destroyed the storage warehouses and infrastructure where essential equipment, seed materials, and tools for indigenous seed reproduction were kept. This is not just an attack on a building-its an attack on Palestinian food sovereignty, biodiversity and cultural memory.

Israel destroyed a Palestinian seed bank today. This is such a specific kind of evil, targeting literal hope for the future. Attempting to further alienate Palestinians from their home and land. So much destroyed just for the sake of destroying. It's awful.

Discipleship isn’t about checking boxes—it’s about staying rooted in relationship so that our action flows from presence, not pressure.

I respect you Keith, but you got some of the details of the Colbert story wrong in regards to the end of Letterman's tenure. The set was owned by Letterman's production company and Deadline reported (deadline.com/2015/05/late...) that much of the set couldn't be saved due to how fragile it was.

Where is the outrage from Evangelicals & conservative Christians for the opening of the concentration camp in the Everglades? For the destruction of 500 metric tons of food for starving children? For the terrorizing of innocent people by ICE? How is this Christ-like? Jesus would weep & flip tables.

For I was hungry and you took away my SNAP benefits.
I was thirsty and you made the water unsafe to drink.
I was sick and you kicked me off of Medicaid.
I was a stranger and you deported me.
I was in prison and you denied me due process.
Just as you did it to the least of these you did it to me.

Through Saints Peter and Paul, we learn that our differences aren't a hindrance when we share the same mission from God.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't adding non-budgetary items to the bill mean it can't go through reconciliation? I thought that was why the minimum wage increase wasn't included in the Inflation Reduction Act.

We are at a pivotal point in history as the church. Do we give up on ~2000 years of teachings and let the louder voices prevail or do we stand firm and follow the example of Jesus' life and ministry to the least of these? The answer is clear. Do we have the courage to follow in Jesus' footsteps?
