this is incredible and Shamey is underselling it really hard. the idea of an NTSB report about a hound-related incident is SO clever, and it's executed here with a really, really elegant balance between good storytelling and the appropriately dry tone for a technical document. extremely compelling

So I ended up short on my last paycheck due to missing work with no pay because i was out with covid.

It's pretty wild to me that investigators have uncovered that anti-trans campaigns are largely funded by the fossil fuel industry, and that the presumed motivations are pretty directly to redirect the public conversation away from climate change... and that this isn't bigger news.
