well I've found them in del Rio clay and other formations south of there. it's found almost all the way down to the border. Leakey, campwood areas.

west Texas has less crystals and more sheet like, blanket deposits.

near cedar valley area. I pulled out floater pieces for 3 days before continuing extraction. one of my best pockets for sure

While I was digging another massive pocket next to this, I stopped for a second because I thought I heard some other noise. I listened for a minute and heard/felt a muffled THUMP under my BUTT.

I was really trusting my guts on this one.
