Chancellor freezes charges to keep prescriptions under a tenner The Chancellor is extending the freeze on NHS prescription charges next year to keep prescriptions under a tenner, saving patients around £12 million next year.

The Labour government are freezing prescription charges in England again for the second year in a row.
