#NowPlaying Anika Nilles, "Pikalar". Just a guess, but I imagine Nilles's earlier albums are enjoying a healthy spike in listening figures right now. This is fantastic jazz inflected prog (or prog inflected jazz) and, yes, the drumming is outstanding.

It’s the quintessential “I like their early albums the most” album as well.

This is terrific fun. Like "Captain Kronos", you can really see the potential for a series there. I know it was through desperation, but 70s Hammer was so inventive.
