Results from analyses of 4 longitudinal datasets from Australia, US, UK: In children with ear and hearing difficulties, reading problems at age 7/9 were associated with higher symptoms of mental health problems including anxiety, peer problems, externalising behaviours, low self concept at age 9/11.
