if you're seeing this message, an automated Reality Check has failed. You are dreaming. Yes, really. (for dumb reasons I can't control, please don't link, quote, or otherwise intermingle posts from my "handles 1-3" to this non-work alt. Sorry!)

It is a dirty shame how Republicans have tried to get rid of it, with no replacement in sight. Ever! I will always be grateful for President Obama. He truly cared about America.

11.11.2025 17:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Changing the LED Module IMPORTANT: The lights in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments use LED technology that do not need to be replaced. If the lights do not illuminate when the door or drawer is opened, call for assistance or service. Refer to the Quick Start Guide for contact information. If an LED module(s) do not illuminate when the refrigerator and/or freezer door is opened, call for assistance or service.
The light in my 5-year-old refrigerator has started strobing. "No problem," I thought, "I'll replace the bulb."
Nope! Instead of a $3 bulb, Whirlpool wants me to pay hundreds of dollars for a repair visit. Non-replaceable LEDs are the worst. A proper country would have regulations about this.
I suspect that, unlike a US-bound healthcare provider, Amazon understands that's who they're up against and need to align their costs with.
11.11.2025 04:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0well let me put it this way. Before I had insurance I just bought them on the darknet. I'd be buying them on the darknet still and can jump right back to that if Amazon gives me the finger. Prime shipping is outdoing some friendly guy in Laos in this particular case. Like netflix and pirate bay.

Now we want one with JUST a Bluetooth button and/or AUX jack, because we already carry an everything device around everywhere

I had this same issue with a tiny devboard recently! Was able to overcome it by replacing one side of the keypad matrix with fixed Vccs. Making it n (or m) ANALOG ins rather than n+m digital I/O;
