I want to try ethanol extraction with the laurel berries that keep dropping on my car as well, it's supposed to be colorfast according to a paper I found

I'm thinking of redyeing the yellow as well, the color is not as intense as I like so I'm wondering if ethanol extraction will pull more pigment from the lichen. Gotta get some really cheap and strong vodka or something. Fortunately I've got a shitton of lichen to experiment with
