One of modern technology’s marvels is getting to watch a live stream of my nephew Kai’s basketball game.
Is it just me that hears the same level of sarcasm when you hear “ I love that journey for you” as when someone says “love and light” or “bless her heart”?
Today I took myself out for an artists date to Jolie Tea Company. I had their lunch high tea and Steve thought it was the reason I was so calm when I got a flat tire on the way home.
What does a middle-aged witch like me do for the lunar eclipse? Take a bath, read my library book and go to bed early. I find the vibes of blood moons too disruptive and disturbing to do big work. It is the energetic equivalent of surfing in a hurricane. I’m lucky I can survive my own klutziness.
Love the thirteen days of yule practice.
I have been making a monthly list of ingresses, retrogrades, and noting where the moon goes full and new in the houses of my birth chart. I love the idea of adding a card to each to gage its effect.
We had an encounter with a boar in our last game with a symbol of Talos on his hide. so this is my D&D bullet journal drawing of it. #D&D #campainjournal

When they say cleanse your crystals they don’t mean leaving them in your jeans pocket as they go through the washer and dryer.
I also got the winter tarot deck by the same people and have loved it so much. I share this one because every time I see it I think of my mom. She loves hot cross buns.
My students turned me on to the seasons of the witch oracle decks. Last year I collected the whole wheel of the year and I shift them with the seasons. I’ve really enjoyed tuning into the seasons with my daily card pulls.
Today’s lesson is that even if you are bogged down by a massive to do list you should make time to take a walk in the forest or whatever balances you and resets you. That clear mindset after helped me finish an enormous back log of tasks today.

What is helping you get through right now? This morning for me it is a little book of prayers I started last year. It is prayers I have written and some of my favorites from others. There is something comforting about reciting the ones that have meaning for me that day in my morning practice.
To my husbands, all my friends and family Happy Valentine's day! I love you all and I hope you can feel it from me all year round. These cool dragons are from the art of Sandara Tang whose art is in the game Flamecraft and Flamecraft duo which are some of my favorite cozy games.
I had to read this twice to know what I had read. 😂
My mind or maybe my muse likes to come up with songs in the shower. Today’s musical first draft was about “what is the sound of an owlbear?” It was kind of catchy maybe I will record it.😂🦉🐻

Here is an idea that came to me for some New England hoodoo for you! Sprinkle some road opener oil or a variant of it on the snow before you shovel out your walk to open the way to blessings, prosperity and love.
