New work is coming. I’m pushing myself in new directions and trying new ideas. I wish I could show you these paintings, but you’ll have a wait a little longer.

Painting clouds to forget about all of house water damage … Looking for a silver lining up there is the happy, fluffy clouds.

Fun class today with my portrait students.

1 hour demo using size 10 brushes. It is always great to force yourself to be loose and gestural.

Playing around with colour to work out a new series linked through colour rather than imagery.

Having fun with this little portrait. Still glazing and background to do but coming along.

Great way to start the week! Unboxing a bunch of new panels from Artefex for an upcoming exhibition at Auric Gallery.

It’s extremely lucky and privileged to go from the beach two days ago to the slopes of the Rockies today. This is definitely not a normal week, but grateful for all of it.

Oh how I wish I could have!

Had to leave the ocean and return home but feeling recharged. Time to get back to painting and channel some of this inspiration and colours.

Two of these paintings came from my trip to this water in Mexico last year. How can you not want to paint these blues!!

Back to my happy place for a few days. Loving being by water!
