Oh! Another consideration is that the MacBook Pro screens are just crazy good color and clarity. So, good for color grading.
If it’s your secondary machine + you value portability, MacBook Air. Bumping up to the 10 core GPU variant prolly.
If there are times when you’re working hours a day on it, using After Effects/rendering, the Pro has better thermals. And extra ports.
MPro/Max is obvi better but all M chips are good
