2/2 I refrained from a Mikimoto-style character and, more so, even less of an anime style character than I normally do. The actual illustration was then done using a dip pen, although I forget which nib I used, and then colored digitally.

The VF-9 was drawn and colored fully in Photoshop.

There’s some very detailed art and images for the VF-1 Valkyrie cockpit which I was able to reference. The harder part was adjusting the brightness for that to make it a bit more clear what it was.
