How do you feel about the spine art on Sw2 cases?

Right?? I especially despise the cross-gen Xbox stuff which almost always only has the Xbox One version on the disc and requires a download of the Xbox Series version

To me they come with the inconvenience of physical (have to have the game card in the system) as well as the lack of ownership most people associate with digital

Plus it requires storage space

Nintendo has utterly failed in their messaging and marketing of Switch 2 Editions. It’s a genuine selling point and they’ve never made it obvious that it works like this

I’m endlessly fascinated by people’s obsessions with box art like rating is on their cover or choosing a Switch 1 art over Switch 2 even if it means it’s a lesser version. No shade! Just genuinely find it interesting

Switch 2 Game-Key Cards are a bummer but Nintendo handled the Switch 2 Edition games much better than other consoles in my opinion!

Nintendo Switch 2 Edition game cards work in both Switch 1 and Switch 2

Switch 1 - runs the base game as normal
Switch 2 - runs the base game + Switch 2 upgrade files

(That means now. Well, last week actually. We soft launched the retailer selection feature on Friday nd have been letting people stumble into it on their own so we can kick the tires a bit before telling a bunch of people about it explicitly)

As someone who has to be on social media for work, in the gaming space, it’s such a drag. It’s exhausting. I’ve been actively working towards spending less time on socials which is kind of a bummer because I’ve met so many awesome people. But it’s just not worth the stress.
