ACLU sues DMV for not releasing records pertaining to ICE - The Nevada Independent In the Thursday lawsuit, the ACLU said the DMV had failed to turn over correspondence between the agency and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in response to multiple public records requests since February 2025. After sending a formal demand letter through the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, the Nevada DMV turned over heavily redacted and incomplete documents.

In the face of the Trump administration's escalating anti-immigrant agenda, state officials owe us transparency about their collaboration with immigration enforcement.

Las Vegas police sued for release of immigration enforcement records at county jail The Metropolitan Police Department has been sued in an effort to compel it to release public records related to the expanded federal immigration enforcement at the county jail.
