Bought 2nd hand but slightly worried it may have been pinched from a #library.

P.S. he 'may' be in need of a new co-author.
Interesting, I wonder if there's an android equivalent
10.02.2024 09:15 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Dear app developers Please develop an app that can tell the point I drift off to sleep listening to an audiobook and will pause the book at that point. No more manually skipping back the next day to find a passage I recognise, then realising I've skipped back way too far.

I'm of a certain age, I like to socialise, have lunch out, see a show, and still get home before 8pm.
Anyone know why this isn't a thing? It works for plays.
Is it a stamina issue?
I'd understand that, I couldn't be entertaining twice a day either.

It's surprising how divisive food photos can be. For me this was the perfect breakfast
18.01.2024 14:45 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Writing soothes and frustrates me in equal measure. So many fragments bobbing about in my brain demanding I make the time to weave them into a story.

A snippet of a conversation or a thought they're having pops into my head. I start writing to discover who they are and what they want.
13.01.2024 11:14 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I know it's cliche to pick a classic, but it's a classic for a reason, Little Women. The Friends episode where they put the book in the freezer is so relatable. That book broke and mended my heart repeatedly.

Picture of pine cones and nuts with a poem. As the wheel turns on it's tilted axis, the rotation marks another year. The sun is still between the end and beginning, but light follows darkness as darkness light. In the light of winter forgiveness burns bright, as the old sun dies old wounds can heal. And the tallest trilithon marks the promise of hope and light.

22.12.2023 21:36 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Solstice Poem Some want to speed from autumn to spring and avoid the cold dark that winter can bring. Others turn inward in empty places, finding solace in long night's embraces. As earth takes a breath, soothed by stillness we pause. Enclosed within transformative night. Withdrawal an essential part of renewal. Darkness reveals it's gifts, as creation springs from nurtured dreams of what lies dormant. Fires we've kindled are a beacon. Burning brightly as the shortest day meets the longest night Let the dawn's come late and the sunsets early, before the slow turn to a season filled with light.
I find this can be such a peaceful, reflective, and creative time of year if you let it.

Growing up we were given something to keep us occupied on Xmas Eve, it wasn't cultural for us, I'm a Brit, just clever parents distracting us from getting overexcited about the next day. Sometimes a book, sometimes a game or puzzle. Played or read in the family room though not in our bedrooms.
