I’m letting go of that shame—I feared no one would pay to see me live if they’d heard the joke, but that’s false. I’m always growing, and my material will still hit, just like a musician performing your favorite song.

I came from a generation of comics that hid our material—locked-up phones, no spoilers. Now? We have to post everything because tickets are pricey, and post-COVID, outside is still scary.
