We live in the area and that event was so traumatizing

It’s so important in light of all the shit going down to find the good wherever possible. I know this person has a really really hard job. People can be nasty and abusive to veterinary staff. But wow did it feel nice to have a little moment with her on the phone.

There’s a gal who works for my vet that seems incredibly unfriendly.. I know she isn’t mean but she’s super abrupt and today I had to call to ask some questions and holy cow, she was really kind and even complimented me on how I organized my thoughts. We laughed together, are we friends now?

Absolutely absurd job by this officiating crew tonight for BC at Vermont. Randomly waving off icing, for no apparent reason. Two of the softest calls I’ve ever seen. Plus they add a single second onto the clock for some reason after calling a penalty. A rec league crew would have done better.
