I'm having one of the most productive mornings I've had in a long time. I finished short story edits on a short story, and then submitted it to two markets. I also followed my publisher's advice and submitted a published work to Best of Horror 2025 (which is the longest of long shots).
I applaud the ID Channel for doing something concrete for Domestic Violence Awareness month and beyond.

I started making myself do the New Yorker crossword puzzles online every day. I am hopelessly bad at crosswords. But something about the process of being wrong so often, but eventually figuring out the answer, is soothing my rage/anxiety right now.
