Carbon monoxide related incidents in London have more than doubled, with around 1,700 callouts in 2024/25.

Speckled Jim, a homing Pigeon flying back to Wolverhampton from Brittany, France wondered off course due to solar flares on Monday and found his way into Paddington Fire Station. Using his id tags, RW crews were able to contact his owners, and they travelled down the following day to be reunited.

Over 600 riders attended the Deliveroo 2025 Rider Roadshow event @ Soho Fire Station. Riders received #ChargeSafe flyers and could speak directly with firefighters and the Brigade’s campaign team about how to stay safe when charging and storing e-bikes and e-scooters.

Firefighters from A24 Soho joined colleagues from F23 Millwall for training on the Elizabeth Line in Ilford

Yesterday A21 crews visited St John’s Wood Sub Station for familrisation.Producing 400,000kv it's service tunnels run as far north as Elstree and as far east as Stratford.

Firefighters from A24 Soho have been on scene at Whitehall since 06:00. Assisted Met Police to ensure 4 protesters and their banner made it back down safely.

On Friday, twenty fire engines and around 125 firefighters tackled a fire at a hotel on Chiltern Street in #Marylebone.

The fire started in a ground floor restaurant and spread to the roof of the four-storey hotel via the ducting.
