Oh, wait. Is it a hood?
22.02.2026 16:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thatβs a high impact design. The neck treatment is attractive and unique. Is that knit separately?
22.02.2026 16:50 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Beautiful. It is a great winter color to combat βthe graysβ of stick season. And it will be perfect for fall. I think I need more oranges in my life.
22.02.2026 16:47 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That lace pattern looks like little hearts running up the socks. Red is the perfect color for these. So cute.
22.02.2026 16:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Very pretty. Itβs an overly spring cowl. And that color looks so good on you.
22.02.2026 16:32 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That usual wild! In the best way.
22.02.2026 05:12 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh, sorry. Itβs easy to use knitter lingo & forget it sounds like gibberish to a newbie.

21.02.2026 00:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Knitting has so many tricks! I love that about the craft. I taught a newbie-ish (1 year) how to joint in the round without a gap developing between the first and the last st of the cast on row on her first hat. Thereβs always more than one way to get what you want. Itβs so satisfying.
21.02.2026 00:54 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0If you added a st you can drop both sts & tink back to the point of the hole. The extra stitch will fall out with no running once you get to where you added it and you just follow instructions above. You might have a slight amount of slack but it should be easy to ease into adjacent sts on the row.

12.02.2026 18:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Any knitters users of Discord? I joined it for a test #knit last year. With Discord soon to require uploading facial recognition Iβm not comfortable staying. They have so many tentacles in gaming etc. But I canβt find any functions to delete the account. Help?
10.02.2026 19:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0More info on knowing what weight category your chosen yarn falls into, but I donβt know if you are fairly new to knitting. Donβt want to repeat what you know. But there are charts for that online showing yds/meters divided by weight and which classification that falls into.
08.02.2026 20:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Pattern is based on how the designer knits. Itβs an average. So if you meet gauge without going too far from suggested you shouldnβt need to make more adjustments. If youβre using a yarn known to be a thicker or finer weight then thereβs math involved.
08.02.2026 20:37 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I always have to check myself on when I need to do additional changes. But I often go down 1, occasionally 2 needle sizes to get gauge. In principal if youβre using the same weight yarn with the same fiber contents one needle up or down is just an adjustment to how you knit.
08.02.2026 20:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I love them. Sadly I canβt knit on any needles smaller than size 2, so I only knit DK weight socks. Looks like a really fun make.
08.02.2026 20:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There are computer programs out there used by knot designers if youβre designing a pattern?
08.02.2026 20:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yes I did, thanks. Did you repost their post with comments from you. The posts look conjoined.
08.02.2026 20:13 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The heel and sole are as beautiful as the leg and foot. Wow.
08.02.2026 20:06 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Itβs beautiful. Iβm not in a place to apply but best of luck. I look forward to the pattern.
08.02.2026 20:04 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Everyone is different I think. For myself I tend to knit looser above a 4.0mm/6US and need to go down a size.
08.02.2026 19:47 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If I keep my floats loose it doesnβt affect fit. But Iβve heard others say it does. I think the main thing is the check a gauge swatch knit in the round like your sock will be. Itβs common to knit tighter on tiny needles bec of the grip.
