It's really not that I'm offended in any way. I'm in the comfortable situation that I don't rely on art so I have liberties others don't have. And I'm also not offended by no answer at all cause there might be reasons. But I always feel so awkward that I just wanna undo my initial message 🫥

I don't mind being told "no." Many artists do art for a living and simply can't afford to waste their time on projects that won't generate revenue.
However, being completely ignored always makes me feel like I offended them to the bone. Like ... the fuck is wrong with me for even asking 😶

Every now and then I gather up all my courage and ask other artists (who haven't already clearly communicated that they have no interest/time) whether they are interested in a trade. I usually get no response at all - and for some reason I die of shame every time this happens. I will never learn. 🙃

Thanks! That was a few hours of excessive drybrushing with black acrylics. Nice side effect is that the fur gets a subtle stiffness which makes it easier to shape.
