I just think the point of going to university is decreasing.

Like I legit am learning on hand guide to large language models, some complex shit> what do I do?

I just open ChatGPT advanced voice mode and turn on camera to ask questions while reading.

Who needs a university, a real question?

Feeling like a full-time app juggler?

Clients in one app, invoices in another, schedules all over the place…

Why does it have to be this complicated?

What if there was a way to simplify the chaos?

I don’t have all the answers, but here’s what I’m focusing on:
Can I solve a real problem better than anyone else?
Can I build systems that make small businesses say, β€œFinally, this just works”?

Trust is the hardest part.
- I talk to small businesses every day.
- They don’t care about buzzwords.
- They care about simplicity.

20.12.2024 05:23 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

AI feels like the answer, but only if we think bigger.
- Throwing another tool at the problem won’t help.
- Small businesses don’t want to manage more software. They need integration. - They need workflows that feel effortless.

The "messy inbox problem" isn’t just emailsβ€”it’s workflows.
- Disorganized emails are just the start.
- Small businesses are buried in unstructured workflows:
- Leads in one tool. Scheduling in another. Invoices handled separately. None of it talks to each other.

Let me break it down:
1. Small businesses are drowning in disconnected tools.
- At Upper Route Planner, I’ve seen this up close.
- One of our customers had three phones just to handle a single routing issue.

Reading this article by Andreessen Horowitz, I feel excitedβ€”and honestly, a little overwhelmed.

The potential is massive, but the challenges feel even bigger.

If you’re building for small businesses in 2025, you’ve probably felt this too.

Thinking of building something in AI… Eureka, got the perfect idea!

2 hours later: Someone already built it, raised $10M, and open-sourced it.

When I feel stressed or demotivated building a startup, often see myself reading this

I spent a few months in India after growing up in Canada, and man I do miss the stress free life and not worrying about traffic or healthcare.
I thought I could buy time through hiring people to do stuff for me in India, but managing them is itself a stressπŸ˜‚ with added traffic everywhere!

I think I am loosing my creative edge, but at same time gaining it too in new ways.

As we become more inorganic we will be constantly thinking….IYKYK

Always have a social respect for this!!

Trust is what most GenAI tools are lacking!

Take Dot, for example: it doesn’t just remind you to grab lunch; it asks about your week, checks in on your plans, and follows through.

It feels personal. It feels human. That’s how trust is earned.

Build relationships, not just tools.

Where to build audience?
- X or Twitter- just no words to describe it, saturated, tons of content and not sure where to start describing it
- LinkedIn- people usually just react to β€œhappy to share” β€œ10 lessons I have”
- YouTube or Meta ecosystem- people interested in only short formed content

3. Efficiency: This approach can lead to better results without needing to invest heavily in training larger models, which can be costly and time-consuming.

24.11.2024 11:27 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

2. Less Focus on Training: Instead of just trying to make the model bigger or train it with more data, we can focus on how it performs when it’s actually being used.
