Thats why: Get rid of the term woke or call both sides woke. They hate being called right woke.

Critical theory, an essential part of woke, is IMO the slippery slope toward de-construction. I see de-construction on both sides, claiming to be the TRULY AWAKE to the real problems! Ideologues paid by billionaires want to draw us into sham fights woke/anti-woke to distract. It's a war strategy.

I suffered from people who claimed to be "not asleep" in the face of evil. I grew up in a communist regime. They ALWAYS said they are the good guys and who disagreed was mentally ill, because how can you be against the solution? Result: 80-100 Mio people died.

They take what you say, distort it, weaponize it, because they want to destroy anything in the way of their $ agenda.

It is good to fight for human rights.
But evil starts when you your end justifies the means.

I see justification of means among the extreme left and on the extreme right.

I guess you and I use different definitions of woke because we live in different countries.
Here in Germany the extreme left and the extreme right both lie and distort the truth. They both would claim to be "awake" to the truth and claim to have the solution.

I do not believe in talking points of the woke extreme right / or left. That's why I use the derogatory term "woke" to express this. I see free democratic societies who have more equality and social peace than the Americans. What the US needs are economically sound social Democrats, not woke.

Woke is IMO characterized by trying to deconstruct and change the current status quo by making people believe in made up social constructs, shaming them for noncompliance, virtue signaling your own compliance.

The extreme right and left do this, hence are woke.

Sure, the GOP is at an all time low. But "nothing on earth" compares to some Americans? I had to laugh out loud! This is the usual US centric "we are always the greatest" trap, that prevents you Americans from adopting what is TOTALLY normal in many other countries. I've mentioned Norway...

I am not for US style billionaire "rule of the meanest", justified by heritage foundation style ideological whitewashing, and materialistic pseudo religion. US History is full of that.

A Norway style social democracy would create a more balanced wealth distribution and more social peace in the US.

IMO woke is yet an other term whose shelf life has expired. No point defending it. I am using "right woke" to blame a branch of the right that is lost in ideology (you may call that lies), just as I blame a branch of the left that is lost in ideology (you may also call that lies).

Habits always change you. Good habits increasingly ground you in reality, changing you and the world. Meanwhile woke (=having adopted critical theory) tries to change the world by tearing down what is rooted in reality to rule by gnosticism.

Christian Exceptionalism is a form of gnosticism, hence a form of woke, in this case woke from the right.

If you are not (allowed to be) critical of woke in general, you won't be able to be critical of the ever growing "right woke" or "MAGA woke", which we can see everywhere these days, and you will not fix the problems.
