31.07.2025 17:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I have just finished the draft of my next book. This is my favourite bit before all the hard work starts, getting the story out of my head and onto the screen. What do other people love the most about their chosen creative endeavours?
29.07.2025 13:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Same here, the relief of not having to come home and lug a watering can around for an hour cannot be understated!π Worse than that we're having a new fence fitted today and it feels like Christmas has come early.
29.07.2025 13:18 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ha ha! Have you recovered yet? I love it when they go around the supermarket in mobility scooters then get out to reach an item on the top shelf. π
29.07.2025 13:15 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0They are absolutely gorgeous. Lucky you. Some of my favourites in there and a few I grow in my garden.
29.07.2025 13:13 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Saw this on the way home from work, it was parked on the pavement for some reason. Has anyone ever slept in one of these tents?
18.07.2025 18:05 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0That is a great tip. I think about my characters too much. I've been known to talk about them as if they exist, then look a complete prat when I have to apologise and explain they're in my head!
18.07.2025 16:10 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Only just read this. Has it worked yet!!π
16.07.2025 16:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I've got someone who despite dirty looks and ignoring them, only goes away when I tell them to F*** Off. They finally get the message and go off for a sulk. I don't care what they do as long as they do it quietly and in another room.
16.07.2025 15:51 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Have any writers out there had experience of book fairs in the UK? Are they worth going to? Not expecting to sell loads, thinking of them as more of networking events.
08.06.2025 20:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thanks Paul.
Stupid question, but all this is new to me. (Can you tell !!). What do I need to do and when do you need it by?π

Hi Paul
Been having tech troubles which have only just been fixed. See I'm way too late to be in your starter pack but thanks for the offer.
Hopefully you'll do another one someday soon.
Hi Paul. I'm still trying to get used to Bluesky. Is it too late to be included in your next starter pack? Thanks to Paul McIntyre who mentioned it would help me connect. Brilliant idea.

Hi Jodie, do you happen to know anyone who is looking for ARC readers in the Psychological Thriller or crime genres.
Looking for advice. Has anyone out there used ARC reviewers and how did it go for you?
27.04.2025 15:43 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I would like to send a huge thanks out to Kelsey Cashman who posted this review.
I would rate Movie Night 5 stars This book was excellent from start to finish. The author flawlessly weaves together different perspectives. The plot was well-written and unpredictable. An exciting, thrilling mystery.
Hyperbole will always be hyper bowl to me, and I wasn't a kid when I discovered the truth or the meaning!

Back on here for a second time trying to figure out how to make it work best for me. I love your sense of humour, some of those cards are brilliant, especially the chicken one.
Can you or anyone else please tell me how to search for likeminded individuals. Thanks.
This is my first post, as the year draws to a close I'd like to thank everyone who helped, supported and believed in me. Still can't believe I finally published my first novel. Hope the next is easier!!
Love you all and have a great 2025 xxx
