The newly released 2023 Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS) data shows:
✔️ Tobacco use is down from 7.9% in 2013 to 6.7% in 2023
✔️ Secondhand smoke exposure is decreasing at home, at work, and in restaurants
✔️ Tobacco advertising has been significantly curtailed
