I need to learn how to handle Emotinal Dysregulation as well as PTSD Dissociatve / Hyperarousal responses. Its causing me to have impulse control issues and give in to maladaptive coping mechanisms. I need to learn how to be more mindful, learn good grounding techniques.

I will not be staying in Iowa. Fuck this place. I'll miss friends and my shops but I'll never truly be happy here.

The social paralysis spiral is real. I want to be near people but not seen too closely. I want connection but dread the effort initiating it. I'm scared of feeling like a downer or like I'm interrupting someone's vibe.

I know I'm not falling apart, and that I'm finally waking up but I'm trying my best for this not to be a breakdown. I want this to be a breakthrough. Its painful, loud and messy but its real. I've been so focused on surviving, I'm not living.

Finally realizing I've hit a wall from #masking, #over-functioning and #self-sacrificing. This recipe of Autistic/ADHD traits, executive dysfunction, and emotional burn out is a recipe for disaster for me. I look fine on paper, but for years I've apparently been hollow inside.
