My first art show went well. Met some great local people and some awesome local photographers and artist. The Olympia community is awesome. Thank you to all those that stopped by for some great conversation.

I was pleasantly surprised. I thought for sure it would have been sent to the prop garbage in Hollywood, but nope, still there!

It was a beautiful morning. Empty of tourists and dramatic in nature.

We are planning a visit to LV soon and I think it would be a great opportunity for you to have her on you channel as a guest. I have been watching you fomr the beginning of the war and I am passionate about Ukriaine as I have spent a lot of time there. I would hope you would consider it.

I have no idea how to get in touch with you. So I will post here. My wife is a former radio journalist and was working out of Crimea during the annexation in 2014. She has an overwhelming amount of historical information from interviews with prominent people.

I went on a ultra wide rampage for a but. I need to revisit that. It is fun to shoot really wide when the photo doesn't even call for it.

The simle ones are often the best. I really liked this one.

I had a moment where I decided to do something out of the norm in order to try and be unique. We shall see if it pays off. I am having fun with it. I do like to shoot static images. It is the core of great photography and will always hold a special place in my heart. Especially on film.

That makes sense. My 4x5 is really light. It is a Hansa 6x9 with a 4x5 adaptor. I also have it on a carbon fiber tripod. That probably has a lot to do with it. I can carry it around all day which is why I love it so much. It is probably the smallest 4x5 ever made. I really need to do pinhole.

The tide wasn't that dramatic so that may have had something to do with it. The sand there was quite 'packed' as well. Maybe I just got lucky.

I didn't have an issue with that. My tripod is water proofed so I did not worry about that but I di not have any sinking issues. This photo was a 1 minute exposure. It was one of my most liked at a festival that I was at recently.

That is a great location for shooting. I have had many spots that I have been trying to get that 'epic' capture of. This one looks good. i think that less foreground would really focus on the landscape. Love the fog. Gives it a great earily feel. Nice photo!
