I got literally no sleep last night. Went to bed around 10pm, was still awake around 6am. No idea how long it took to actually get to sleep, but I woke up around 10:30am.

I was reading a webcomic where someone drew the Cool S, and I thought I'd try making it in 3D. This is what I came up with.

Hi! I'm not much of a yapper, but I've been getting into Blender recently, and knowing you do your work in Blender is inspiring. I'd like to make fun renders like you do, but I don't just want to copy your style and I'm not really sure what kind of style to go for.

Making more progress in the 3D classes. The head looks kinda alien without eyes and ears and stuff, but it's meant to be anime styled.

Been trying to cheer myself up by playing one of my favorite games. I think I've played about as much as I can.

Welp. VA job assistance program pointed me to a library job that looked promising. Said they had a contact there and would put in a good word for me.

Submitted my application a few hours later. Got a rejection email less than 10 minutes after applying.

Still just futzing around with Blender, getting used to it all again.

It still needs a LOT of work before I'd want to consider using it for anything other than rough animatics or whatever, but it's still the most progress I've ever made modeling one of my characters.
