Yes, Bill failed the credulity test. One of the few "nice" things said about Trump is that he is a good salesman and has the capacity to make people he talks to feel heard and seen.

Bill had surely heard of that.

He got played, good and proper.

The weird thing is that Bill's retelling of the dinner at the WH was pretty complimentary to Trump.

It doesn't need to be an autocracy for that... US politicians have been choosing their voters for decades via gerrymandering.

Just part of how US voters are disenfranchised.

To borrow a line used to describe Henry Kissinger... Trump "does not lie because it's in his interests. He lies because it's in his nature."

For what it's worth, it gave me no pleasure to write either.

America got what it voted for.

The people are too angry and ready to believe anything they're told and the opposition didn't make a good enough case.

I've never played any of the (very small number of) games released that year.

It's been said before... but it's because they're in a cult.

That said... the level of their willful ignorance and apparent desire to completely suborn their lives and opinions to Trump and the government is still pretty astounding.

A lot of post-black sounds very similar. Somehow, while clearly being of that genre, MØL have a sound that is all their own.

New album, released today, is worthy of a listen.
