Knackered ex orienteer and map collector- now on a bike much of the time. Hill bagger. East Lothian. Unfortunately due to some authoritarian overreach from our neighbours and overlords and over enthusiastic compliance, I am unable to easily access DMs.

07.02.2026 10:04 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Coming back from a village hall dance in the early morning once to meet two bulls wandering up the road and the local Karen fully on the warpath. Not pleasant but I got them in. Had it not been a weekend who knows what they could have eaten. (Herefords)

We need to have eyes wide open this is exactly why the Government wants to abolish juries.
People protesting against a genocide are not the criminals here - it's the politicians who continue to provide cover.

Dear Aliens
Never, ever ask an Urthoid to take you to their leader. You really will regret it, especially if you end up visiting the orange one. Keep your space suits on.
A rather distinctive orienteering map of a conifer plantation in North Wales. The highest point in the forest is around 500m. The map uses a very bluish colour for the green screen as was popular with the EBOR maps of th time. Lots of rides divide the forest up and there are some areas of moorland. Scale is 1:20000 which was pretty well obsolete by 1981.
Clocaenog, 1981. Even at the time this map felt a bit retro - 1:20000 scale and of an upland Sitka plantation. Does anyone still use them anymore - oh hello ELO.
The bit below the road to the south was used a bit later as Bod Petrural. #OldOrienteeringMap #Orienteering #Map #DeesideOrieteeringClub
The area has already been "flooded with shit", Q did his job. So anything nasty and true could be missed by wise sceptisism.

02.02.2026 17:56 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A rocky landscape with scree and craggy hills in the background rising 650m above a rough hilly moorland with a loch on the right beneath a path. There is a holly tree beside and below the path, growing on an unseen crag away from being browsed by deer. Lit strongly by sunlight from the right. Sutherland, Scotland.
