A few of my pieces have been framed for the Spring Exhibition at Churchgate Gallery in Porlock, and I think the framer has done a wonderful job.

Here’s my ‘Storm at Crowcombe, 1724’.

This 1918 British operation was an imperial Mission: Impossible Nick Higham’s Mavericks is the rollicking tale of a motley band of Brits who took on the Turks and Bolsheviks in the Caucasus at the end of the First World War

“An action-packed tale of imperial British braggadocio, bravery and blundering on a grand scale.” A splendid review of Mavericks in the Times by Justin Marozzi, no mean writer and historian himself…

Feeling quite chuffed with myself. This is the culmination of an awful lot of work but I honestly think it challenges the accepted wisdoms which to this day, still surround Monty's legacy.
