I'm leaning back beside my Christmas tree and I'm wearing a Santa onesie, unzipped to let out my belly. I'm reaching for a cookie that I have resting on my tummy. The year is 2023.

Flash forward two years, I'm in the same position and in the same onsie, my belly is noticeably softer and rounder, hands resting on either side. My double chin is also noticeably bigger.

Getting closer and closer to reaching Santa-status each year.

Just got over the flu ❤️ so the usual jolly fattening of this season I post about might not happen until later this month. So I've been doing more comparison photos lately instead. ❤️

Bonus: if you catch me shoveling down food in the parking lot… no you didn’t.
