tho idk if taking some aspirin actually helped with the pain or not

feels like a knot under my breastbone/ribcage/upper stomach area, but i've been going easy on it + trying not to eat anything yesterday/this morning + resting a lot (prob something inflamed, hopefully temporarily)

but i'm having stew we just made + it's not making that area twinge in pain, so!

it's also been windy AF all day long so while i'm annoyed to have had to call off today to be miserable around the house, i would've been madder if i'd called off today and couldn't get out to do anything

What a wild way to approach someone

if it's the situation i think it is and a gallstone was, essentially, acting as a gastrointestinal kidney stone, i think it's 'passed' b/c my lower tummy feels icky now, but it sounds like it's doing normal things (like grumbling either for food or upset about the situation)

i am 80-90% sure this is an issue with my gallbladder AND/OR pancreas (b/c gallstones can get stuck and cause acute pancreatitis which, from all the things i've read sound REAL SIMILAR to what i experienced today. so i messaged my dr to see what to do about it _(:Ⅰ」∠)_

absolutely garbage-ass morning/day. got the torso-squeezy again and it went completely off the rails to the point i was seriously considering tony's offer to take me to the ER. i rode it out, tho, and once i woke up around 2:30pm i was still in some pain, but significantly lessened

yeah, i play a little fallout, do my dailies, check my petsites, then eventually get bored sitting at my desk + think that if I bring my ipad in, I'll accomplish something, but I barely every get off my phone (or I scroll Pinterest for ideas forever instead)

the locale change is a huge help for me

it's not so much 'going to bed' as is is 'sitting in a more comfortable position in bed instead of being hunched over my desk' - but more often than not it's just 'ugh this isn't happening' and i'm still awake for another couple hours putzing around doing something else before actual bed

there's something about also getting to people watch that really helps me, i think! a fun little drink, a snack, some more focused doodling and being able to break away from it and eavesdrop or take in different surroundings

every evening i park myself in bed early with the intent to try + doodle or work on art and every night i just end up

he's not real keen on eating kibble still, tho, which is annoying b/c they're free fed for a reason. but he'll eat his wet food. i mixed some with some water and kibble to maybe get his smell/taste back to the flavor of it

okay, so, he did eat something this afternoon (half a purr pop and about 1/4 can of wet food + water + critical care mix) and he WANTS to eat. i just wish i could figure of it's just he was dumb and ate a plant and has an upset tum or if something's stuck between a tooth or something or what

maybe? it's also a possibility he ate some of my dying bearpaw succulent or a bit of pothos - he's acting normal otherwise and drinking, using the bathroom

so now i'm spending the morning stressed, looking for decent low cost vet clinics in the area, worried it might be a tooth thing, hoping it's just a tummy upset, trying to figure out where i'm going to pull possible worst case scenario tooth extraction money out of

drifter is doing a weird thing with his mouth and has wanted to eat but also regurgitated churu last night and when i offered him wet food (which he was interested in!!) this morning he sniffed and licked it but then did a gagging motion and chose not to eat so that's cool cool cool cool cool
