Not a unique take, but: Sports gambling has broken our brains. It's the least interesting lens through which to analyze sports, putting so much focus on the "what will happen/is happening" over "why will it happen/is it happening." It makes our conversations worse and less curious.

I’m relieved to see that someone at CNN was paying attention…after an earlier headline stating a settlement had been reached in the labour dispute at Air Canada, they corrected that mistake. No settlement was reached. Rather the federal government ordered flight attendants back to work. 1/2
