#PPWR argues that cardboard boxes should be excluded from reuse targets due to "low number of rotations".

RE-ZIP reusable cardboard box can achieve 10+ rotations reducing CO2e and waste after 1♻️ compared to single use.

Cardboard should no longer be treated as single use in regulatory frameworks.

@lauramercier.bsky.social agree, great to see that #PPWR is finally out there – such an important milestone! 🎉 However, it’s disappointing that the single-use cardboard lobby managed to push through such significant exemptions. Unfortunately, this undermines some of the ambitions for circularity ♻️🤔
