Played the Curseborne TTRPG today. The Storypath Ultra system seems good, and the setting is promising, but the adventure itself underdelivered. Everybody had enough fun that we'd like to try it again, but this time with custom characters and adventure.

hasn't had any new projects announced in years. I believe Curseborne is a spiritual successor, so I'm curious to see where it goes.

Curseborne is next up on my list of one-shots to run. I've been going through my one-shots alphabetically.

Curseborne is by Onyx Path Punishing, the same folx who make Exalted, Scion, and Trinity. They also made Chronicles of Darkness, a game line that never officially ended, but... 🧵

Oh, she looks gorgeous! You do a fantastic job giving her body a sense of dimension. It's a fairly complex picture, between the pose, the gear, and the shading. Incredible work.

Thank you for the reminder. ☺️Mega Man is hit-or-miss for me. The introduction of the super buster (in 4?) killed the pacing of the games for me and subsequent games adding more powers made later entries too easy. The more recent games (starting with 9?) rekindled my interest in the series.

The art is amazing. But I'd be happy if we never saw Super Mega Man again! 😂It was a LOT of fun flying around as him in Mega Man 6(?), but it also sucked the fun out of the levels. I was no longer engaging the classic platforming. I was just flying over the maps.

Flying out to Vietnam today. When I get back to Bangkok, I'll have my DTV Visa! I had to put together a portfolio for this, of my work as a TTRPG designer. I'd never made a portfolio before. It was a lot of work!

Ran SEVERAL games last week! Costume Fairy Adventures (love it!), Afterlife: Wandering Souls (good, would play again from the other side of the table), and CthulhuTech 2e (the quickstart didn't click, but the group was fun!).
