If you have not read Persepolis you should, it is an extremely powerful graphic novel thats available for free on the Internet Archive: archive.org/details/pers... Though I would also highly reccomend supporting Marjane directly and purchasing it as well.

My 2025 holiday card.

Gold decorative elements in the style of tassels and beads and woodwork surround a diamond-shaped frame on a dark desaturated purple. A shining star element takes up the top of the diamond's interior. A chibi of my WoL, Kestlona, is amid a herd of white and black karakuls. They gaze up at the falling snow. One of her hands is lifted to the falling snowflakes, another rests on the blanket the black karakul in front of her wears.

Written on the bottom left is "May your New Year be bright!" and across on the right is 2025.

I've been eager to slam the book shut on 2025 myself. Here's to planting some seeds to bear beautiful things. (Quite literally, I'm trying to see if I can grow a cherry tree from a pit. 😆)

FYI I learned BigCartel has an "AI Shield" setting which I just turned on. This prevents training bot crawlers, but it may not stop the type of scraping Amazon is probably doing. So not sure it will hep but worth a try.

My holiday card design from last year.

A little Ancient Halmarut walks along a light string holding a candy cane ornament. Behind them is a tree with red berries, decorated with ornaments and strings of lights.

The ornaments include little button mushrooms, one based on the baby bun minion, chestnut korppokurs, candy canes, and a number of ball ornaments. The ball ornaments depict plants, including one based on an "ugly sweater" with gigantenders, a mandragora queen with a pink poinsettia, and another is a knitted mandragora.

The light strings alternate between retro colour bulbs and wee cherry bombs. Happy Holidays 2024 is written towards the bottom left of the image.

(I realised I never posted the full art of my holiday card from last year! The best part was thinking up ornaments based on all the fungi and plant critters.)
