Fun Fact @basheerghouse.bsky.social was just running combat sims on paper before Weathervane was coded. The fact that it was so slow was the reason it got built in the first place.

In case anyone was worried, the #over/under lesbians were keeping it messy right up to the 11th hour.

With WEATHERVANE data I was able to write up Tempest contracts with accurate Gross Profit % to the hundredth of a kcr.

The amount that everyone was rooting for Union and Church to hit wincon. I was legit stressed at the awards ceremony

WEATHERVANE gave us the confidence to move forth on 4 Ops, one for each faction, detailing a solo Tempest full take over. We could have held anyone for ransom. We didn't, but we could've.

I cannot stress how much WEATHERVANE won the game for Tempest. Like, I was able to take win/loss statistics, casualty predictions, and squad costs, and accurately price war contracts' % gross profit. #over/under never saw a Hot War from Tempest and WV proved it would have been *brutal*.

WEATHERVANE was our highest security project. It's sims broke the wargame. No one was allowed to know
