Yup! I'd break out a bunch of wargaming minis, a D&D battlemap, and run out movement math and combats with paper and pencil. Absolute nightmare.

This was the coolest shit. Going through the logs Kara shared and then testing the fully functional program was the highlight of the game's back half. Felt like dead-eyed officers optimizing the sacrifice of your friends/planning horrific bloodshed in a war room. Huge props to Kara.
