Yeah for sure. I have daily records going back to the day we installed the heat pump, so will be able to see the exact cost change.

They really are miraculous things

Couldn’t agree more!

Our total house bill including two of us WFH 5 days a week, using the kettle, oven etc and 14000 miles in the car was £1700 last year.

This Jan we added solar. So interested to see what our energy costs will be this year

So basically it’s either oil in the bag rice, or rotisserie chicken 🤣

I thought something similar earlier. I have never had photographs taken at friends houses wearing a housecoat. 🤣

So why on earth does that seem the norm with him and others

Also the question is badly designed. People hate change.

Why not ask the question ‘from the following categories, what design should be used on the new bank notes?’

Yeah it’s insane.i wish everyone gave 15 m delays.

I’d be making money weekly!

That pisses me off!

Yes my LNER train was delayed 5 min. But I was physically sat on your TPE train when you decided to cancel it. Resulting in me being over 1 hr late.

LNER denied my claim
TPE also denied
Ended up going to Ombudsman who said LNER had to pay delay repay & TPE had to compensate too

Oh and we’ve used 25.7kWh of energy so far today.

Dishwasher, washing machine, floors steam cleaned, both of us WFH, an hour and a bit in the oven, masala chai on the hob, lots of coffees. Average ASHP power draw today 544W

Room temp 21.7C (we had some good solar gain today)
Outdoor it’s 6.3C
We’ve generated 14.83kWh of solar today
Exported 5.78kWh back to the grid and still have 11.84kWh in the battery.

😁

Noooo! Cheese is the best.

I used to drink 6pts a day of milk as a child 🙈

Me neither - it’s cheese which is my kryptonite! I can’t live without it.

A Dutch side road

Now imagine if they made all the side road entrances level for pedestrians with zebra crossings.

Though I believe I’ve got my bearings wrong and it’s the other side of the road which is affected

A screenshot of an email with the subject line Fenham Hall Drive.

It says:

Dear Transport Team

I would like to register my support of the proposals for Fenham Hall Drive. I think the plan is comprehensive and would help promote active travel around this end of town.

My only comment would be regarding the potential loss of the mature trees down the road. I would hope given the changing climate that replanting of trees could be incorporated into the designs to ensure that shade for pedestrians and other users is not lost and that these can be used to soak up rainwater during periods of increasing rainfall.

Owen

What is it?

A big fat 0.

Nobody should lose their lives as a pedestrian. Hell nobody should lose their lives as a road user either.

Couldn’t agree more! Then create a full joined up network of bus and cycle lanes. If you want to get into the city, make it was easy as possible to use public transport or active transport.

It’s ludicrous to have the clean air zone but not apply it to private cars
