This is actually very cursed and outputs a broken interlaced output where frame 0 is top-field first and frame 1 is bottom-field first so I have to reverse the 2 out of every 4 frames after deinterlacing but the output speaks for itself

I noticed betcover!!'s NOBORU video has some very rudimentary conversion from 29.97i -> 23.976p (which to be fair could be creative intent), but I wasted some time figuring out how to de-deinterlace the footage in Vapoursynth and run it through QTGMC to get a cleaner output.
