Sometimes I just need to run away to my favorite hotel room, catch the amazing sunset, take walks in the streets, see amazing graffiti, have a stranger hand me a gift bag of joy, get totally reset by a brilliant Ukrainian masseuse and remember I once made an Ikebana that was inspired by the Truffula

I love butter, I love GOOD butter so I’m leaning in on making butter dishes. Butter dishes for the maximalist, kitchen witch who loves to read about talking animals living in whimsical bogs.

I have been obsessed with Jean Cocteau work since I was a child. In particular, his film, Beauty and the Beast.
I will never not think of a vase or bowl or tea cup that doesn’t house a bit of a soul and personality.
It’s probably why i put faces on so much of my work.

I celebrated Trans Visibility Day with @loreoflenore @sassy_chassis_wear @jiayobaobei @theoriginaleggman and Jason. The vibe was vibing, the celebration was glorious, warm and so many activities❤️❤️❤️

@loreoflenore took me to @charlsies_bakehous this morning and I was in heaven. The perfect lavender latte and their biscuits and gravy… so good I thought I would cry.
This is the perfect place. Delicious food, plants and the most adorable interior. Did I mention their biscuits and gravy????

To say that I immediately thought of this photo after last nights photo was taken. I obviously had to make it black and white and age it up a bit.

It took me longer to string and hang this bird house/feeder than it did to make it.

This child. He basked in the sun all day, snuggled, got treats for simply being adorable and still had the audacity to pitch a fit because I couldn’t hold his weight, pet him with both hands while giving him all the kisses… at the same time.

I’m not your mom so I can’t tell you what to do. I will suggest that you scoop a paperback of this book and give it a little read…

Flew @icelandair to Heathrow. It was an amazing flight. Nothing like a good sense of humor and sunrises over Iceland from the plane.

Then there are the details of the larger piece. I love finding the animals. Under tables, at the feet of the subject or simply part of the overall scenery. Here are some of my favorite.
