We don’t need the U.S. military to “liberate” our city from (checks notes for evidence of socialism) city parks, playgrounds, and giving free breakfasts and lunches to school kids.

When a cabinet member announces "We are using the military to liberate an American city from its elected leaders," where do you go from there. What is left to say. The idea of that being anything short of a near-universal "Wait, what the fuck is going on" moment proves how far we've backslid.

Disappearing people. Arresting protestors. Arresting and shooting members of the press. Arresting a sitting Senator. Have we seen enough? The water is boiling.

I can hear the sirens coming down FWY 10. Trump has just deployed the Marines to Los Angeles. I hope this is the end of him and that good people do the right things in this moment. Turning the military against our entire city is beyond. Don’t let his attempt at martial law in CA be the playbook.
