Less than two weeks away from #AAS2026. Very excited to attend this conference for the first time, and checking out the schedule of sessions as we speak.

A pleasure to present at my school district's Professional Development Day. Great to share and learn from my colleagues at the same time.

My one memory of Brenly was four errors in one inning playing 3B for Giants and then hitting walk-off homer.

The fact Bassitt hasn't signed with anyone is interesting. Can still use him as swingman and definitely in the clubhouse.

Most people remember Buck Martinez the player on this remarkable double play. That was my first year following baseball. Still cannot believe how the return throw from George Bell just magically bounced into his glove right before the runner arrived. Thank you for everything Buck! #BlueJays

The team's first home grown LH starter. Would love to see Key on Level of Excellence, but if it hasn't by now it probably won't happen.

Henke was the team's first true bullpen ace. And we even got Cliff back anyways during the season.

Yesavage was phenomenal last year. Whether he might have innings limit or have some sophomore struggles, I will be reasonable with what I can expect from a young man who jumped four levels last year.

Even though Lee wasn't his old self anymore, it was nice to see a great closer to play on the team you cheer for. Appreciate the Felipe mention as well.

Mike, do you think Bo will make a public social media post to thank the Blue Jays, or at least the fans, for his time in Toronto? It would be a classy thing to do or am I asking for too much.

Aaron Sanchez had so much talent and important to the 15 and 16 teams. Whether it is blisters or other factors, it is unfortunate he didn't have a better career.

Any rumblings about Chris Bassitt? I guess he hasn't seen an offer he likes yet in free agency. Is there a path to him staying? I can see him being effective for another couple of years.

I don't get why a player should get a bonus if he opts out?

To the Mets and play 3B? Both unexpected. Won't be surprised to see opt out if things go sour there.

Thanks for the reply. Student apologized right away and parent was informed. I will have a conversation with the student next week about what would be a fair consequence and include him in the process. The life lesson, like you said, is about trust and that's what I want him to learn.
