Here’s a radical idea for Congress: abolish ICE, dismantle DHS, then take that ICE/CBP BBB slush fund and rebuild our national security apparatus, joint terrorism task force, and alphabet agencies as independent entities. We’re going to need them again. Trump won’t sign it, but let’s write it.

Bad idea. ICE is pre-funded by the BBB. Also, CBP is just as bad if not worse and also pre-funded by the BBB. Severing ICE gives away any leverage we have to shut down the rest of DHS. We should be demanding to defund ICE/CBP of its BBB money and shut down ALL of DHS if they don’t agree.

Now we must make noise for 7 year old Diana Crespo.
Her parents were taking her for emergency medical care when ICE grabbed them, and she’s rotting in the camp sick and exposed to measles.

Although ICE agents absolutely should not be wearing masks, acting like the brutality will stop because their faces are showing is quite naive. Police forces brutalize people all the time with their faces outs, name tags, badges and body cams. The only solution is no ICE.
