she obviously had characters other than herself in the cartoon (in the form of various other vocasynth characters). they don't appear outside of unmodified episode reruns or copies.

she was never originally drawn with open eyes in the original cartoon. that's why her eyes look like that.

her show had been in production for a long time. from 1988 to 1997, it was rather quietly and suddenly canned, but reruns continued to air. but even that didn't last too long.

she still "airs", though, just very rarely by the intention of any television network.

miku may be able to form as an actual being within the world, but'll still appear as a cartoon character. this might be for special occasions; i'm unsure what'd exactly call for her to manifest, but if the time comes, she can!
