“This man fought our war for 10 years. He had six kids, one of whom is an American citizen. He was brought here by the United States of America. He’s been working hard in Texas, paying taxes ... He was doing everything right...and had a pending asylum case"

If Trump walked through the streets of USA without protection he wouldn’t last more than a few minutes before dying of fright or being shot

Greta Thunberg on Trump: “As the Trump administration is waging illegitimate wars across the world, killing countless people, it is also strangling the Cuban people, deliberately, methodically & openly. The paedophile Trump, himself bragged about it.He said it like it was something to be proud of."

Peter Mandelson represents a rotten political culture, where proximity to wealth and power are the end goal. This has to change.

There's only 2 countries in the world with illegal unchecked Nuclear Weapons.

North Korea and Israel.

One of these countries has attacked 9 countries in the last 2 years and is committing a genocide.

It isn't North Korea.

Today I will mostly be trying to bribe people with cheap petrol, in the hope that they will forget that I have been cheering on the orange idiot whose war is pushing up fuel prices.

The Lancet study estimating that US sanctions between 1971 & 2021 caused more than 500,000 deaths a year needs more attention. It’s a staggering number & civilians in the countries affected are slowly being killed off even in the absence of wars

From mandatory ID cards to arresting pensioners for holding up cardboard signs to cosy deals with US tech spy firms:

It's good to see lawyers pushing back on their increasingly authoritarian Govenrment.

He went from “unconditional surrender” and “I must pick their new leader” to full “just declare victory and get the hell out” TACO Trump.

Just when there were signs the UK economy was turning a corner, Trump does something else to absolutely fuck it. And then he has the gall to question whether we're a good ally.

Post from Drop Site News claiming Bellingcat geolocation confirms U.S. Tomahawk missiles struck a girls’ primary school in southern Iran, killing around 180 people, most of them children, with an embedded tweet describing footage of the strike.

Further confirmation of what Trump keeps denying and what Hegseth won't admit to. It was the U.S. that struck that girls’ school.

The bombing of Iranian children is an unforgivable crime America has blood on its hands.

The United States needs to get over the quaint WWII-era notion that it is a force for good in the world. It is not. Especially now.

Israel wouldn’t drop 24 small bombs. Instead it would launch 24 large 2000 pound bombs onto a civilian population

Chris Murphy: "I think it's likely the United States that carried out this attack on this school. I think it's unforgivable under any circumstances, but the fact this was one of our first targeting decisions speaks to the incompetence of our leadership at the Dept of Defense."

It doesn’t work like that when:

1) oil infrastructure is blown up

2) the war has already shown the US cannot defend the Gulf states, so shipping risk stays high - pushing up insurance costs too

3) Iran can choke Strait of Hormuz

4) previous wars have seen oil stay high long after war.
